Trail du Grand Ballon Winter
L'Hivernale 50 is the main long-distance event of the weekend. Starting from Jungholtz, its 51 km and 22,386 m of elevation gain will take you near the legendary Vieille Armand before crossing the Forêt Reculée de Soultz and getting up close to the Grand Ballon. The return route goes via the Judenhut Pass and the Guebwiller Communal Forest, before heading back to Soultz to savour the finish line in the magnificent setting of the Hôtel des Violettes.
